Kasapa Fm/Agoo Tv presenter, Obaasima Serwaa Akoto has lashed out at some women activists and feminists who claim wives cooking for their husbands is akin to slavery.
The news anchor has rejected the campaign by Pepper Dem Ministries, a group that advocates for the rights of married women to get their husbands to actively participate in house chores.
According to Obaasima, it is uncalled for that some women who call themselves feminists will set such a misplaced agenda in their fight for women’s empowerment.
The Executive Director of Imperial Touch International Consult (ITIC) and host of ‘Efie Nsem’, a social and women centered program on Kasapa 102.5, said God who instituted marriage, in His own wisdom made man the head of the house and the woman the helper because He knows without the wife’s help, the home will be difficult to be managed by the husband.
“Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her”. She quoted from Ephesians 5:24 and 25 to support her reason why women must support their husbands in all things.
