Asiedu-Nketiah, Kofi Adams Storm UK To Reorganize NDC

A two-member delegation of the opposition National Democratic Congress is in the United Kingdom as part of the party’s reorganization drive.

The two member NDC delegation led by the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah left Ghana on the evening of Friday, March 16.

They are expected to spend three days in the United Kingdom to launch the Diasporan Reorganisation Programme of the NDC.

“The delegation will use the opportunity to educate our members in the UK/Ireland branch on the guidelines and approach to our diasporan registration and reorganization exercise,” a statement by Fred Kwesi Agbenyo, Deputy National Communication Officer of NDC said.

The other member of the delegation is the National Organiser of the party, Mr. Kofi Adams, the statement mentioned.

A Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Koku Anyidoho will act in the capacity as Acting General Secretary in the absence of the Asiedu-Nketiah, it said.

The delegation is expected to return to Accra on Monday, 19th March, 2018.

After losing power in the 2016 general elections, NDC has been putting together a number of programmes including unity walks to recapture power in 2020.
