On Friday, Accra will witness the fiercest rap battle of the year, as Amerado, an artiste from Kumasi and signed onto Mic Burners record label faces ‘Accra’s best rapper, Munumkum on Pluzz FM’s “Am Pluzz” show.
The battle christened “Accra Vs. Kumasi” became necessary when Amerado Burner, winner of DM Network’s one-month publicity project agreed to battle a rapper from Accra whereas Munumkum, on the other hand, emerged the winner after flooring competition favourite, Obofour after a series of battles on “Am Pluzz”.
The two, Amerado and Mununkum will battle each other in the studios of Pluzz FM on Friday, October 14 to bring to rest the long raging debate between Accra and Kumasi rappers as to which of the capital cities has the best battle rappers.
Winner of this rap battle will walk home with an undisclosed cash price, some items to be provided by Pluzz FM and other promotional packages from sponsors of the competition.
“Accra Vs. Kumasi” is a fulfilment of Sammy Flex’s sponsorship package in support of DM Network’s first edition publicity package for Amerado Burner, an upcoming rapper who signed onto Mic Burners record label.
