A Former Minister of State under the Kufuor administration of the NPP, Hon. Sampson Kwaku Boafo, has paid glowing tribute to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, describing him as a unique and exceptional Chairman.
He said in all his political career spanning over three decades, he has never seen a regional chairman who is as dynamic and effective as the current Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi.
The former minister and MP observed that Chairman Wontumi’s dexterity and alacrity towards his job was extraordinary, stressing that he needs to be commended for a good job done.
“As a young man, he has demonstrated forthrightness in the execution of his duty and needs to be commended,” the astute ex-Legal Practitioner noted.
The Ashanti Regional NPP, under the leadership of Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, put up a sterling performance in last Wednesday’s election, achieving almost 80% of the popular votes and denying the ruling NDC their much talked about one million votes target.
The achievement has been attributed to the vigilance and commitment of the party regional party leadership spearheaded by the 40 year old Chairman Wontumi.
Mr. Sampson Kwaku Boafo therefore urged the dynamic Chairman to remain focus and rally support behind the new administration to succeed.
