The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong says any policeman or woman who will aid in the snatching of ballot boxes at polling stations will be digging his or her own grave.
According to him, since elections according to the ruling of the Supreme Court is won at the polling station, the NPP will not allow any individual to change the will of the people.
Ken Agyapong who was addressing party supporters at the launch of ‘Adopt Polling Station Initiative’ in the Central region said they will lynch any policeman who will snatch a ballot box.
The outspoken MP also alleged that a man called Naa Yakubu has recruited and currently training some members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) as policemen to snatch ballot boxes at polling stations in the strongholds of the NPP.
But the Assin Central MP said they are more than prepared to meet such ‘fake policemen’ boot-for boot to ensure the vote of Ghanaians is protected.
“No professionally trained police or soldier will snatch a ballot box so any policeman who snatches a ballot box will be sent to his early grave,” he stressed.
Ken Agyapong urged the NPP not to be swayed by the freebies of the NDC but vote massively for the NPP for a secured future.
