Speaking further, Nana Addo also stated that with 18 months of his tenure as President, he will transform Ghana and bring prosperity to every part of the country.

Nana Addo also rebuked President Mahama, over the controversial tribal comments he made while at Upper West region. Mahama at Lawra in Upper West region, stated that the NPP is anti-northerners and would never allow any of her member who is a northerner to progress in his political ambition. But Nana Addo bemoaned the Mahama’s tribal comments saying that all Ghana needs, is unity and not a situation where tribe is set against tribe.

He also reiterated the NPP’s campaign promise to restore the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and all pro poor programmes initiated by the erstwhile Kufour led NPP administration.
