Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will from Monday, October 24 begin a five-day campaign tour of the Volta Region.
Nana Akufo-Addo brought his Ashanti Region tour – dubbed ‘Restoration of Hope’ – to an end on Saturday and is moving to the Volta Region, one of the two regions in which the opposition party has no seat.
The NPP has targeted 30 per cent of popular votes in the Region, which is noted to be a stronghold of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The party expects the popular votes to deliver at least three seats in the Region.
Among the constituencies Nana Akufo-Addo will tour are South Dayi, Kpando, Krachi East, Nkwanta North, Hohoe, Ho Central and North Tongu.
