Speaking at the launch of the partnership, the Ag SNR MGR Products and Services, Mr. Bless Sefenu Agordjo was optimistic the partnership will provide MTN customers with excellent content on African movie production.

“We are happy to announce our partnership with AMGO, a content provider that has developed the AMGO App to give Africa movie lovers the opportunity to watch their favorite movies on the go”

“Africa movies on the Go is a Video-On-Demand solution that allows you to download and stream the most current high quality full length African movies on your smart mobile devices at your convenience,” he added.

Mr. Agordjo  explained that the App is available on Google play for android devices with plans to get other Operating Systems on board.

“With this App, you can watch your downloaded videos offline as many times as you like, anywhere and anytime on your mobile device,” he said.

He pointed out that MTN is working to bring quality products to its customers.

“We have worked hard to deploy, upgrade and expand our network infrastructure and IT system to support the provision of our products and services. Three ultra modern data centers, thousands of kilometers of fiber –optic cable, over 2,000 cell sites, introduction of the first mobile 4G service in Ghana – these are some of the ways we are delivering the digital world and ensuring good experience for our customers,” he said.

On his part, the CEO of AMGO Group LLC Nana Osei Aboagye stated that the platform will present a great opportunity for African movie producers.

He stated that it will also sell African content to the outside world to change the narrative of the continent.

Explaining how movies can be purchased, Mr Aboagye stated that movies can be paid for using MTN Mobile Money or another electronic payment service of choice.
