A Plus speaking in an interview on Adom FM said, the fruit drink which has become a subject of selfies by mostly NPP members is now popular in the market than the second gentleman of the land.

“Now Kalyppo is more popular than the Vice President…now people know Kalyppo more than they know the Vice President, Kalyppo is more popular than him …,” he said.

Kalyppo, a local fruit drink has become popular in the country as NPP members are now purchasing the drink to sip just to take selfies.

The pictures mostly posted on social media are in solidarity with the NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo who was pictured sipping the drink.

And this drink, Kwame A Plus insisted is now more popular than Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.

The Vice President received a lot of backlash from the public over his comments that ‘short people need elevation’ to see the achievements of President John Mahama.

Some angry short men and women following the comments decided to join the campaign to unseat President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

They embarked on a campaign demanding that short people in Ghana vote against President John Mahama and the NDC.

“We are many in Ghana, in every region, there are short men there and we are encouraging all of them to vote against NDC and John Mahama they will lose,” one of them said.

A Plus who recently released a song which criticizes the Mahama administration said the drink has now become more popular than the second gentleman.
