If you ever thought, reputable business magnate Sir Sam Jonah never experienced failures on his strive for success, then he has something to share with you.

In his acceptance speech at the Ghana Legacy Honours 2017, where he was honoured for his great achievements, Sir Jonah said, said he has had more failures than with success.

“I have had more failures and setbacks in my life than I have had success”, he told guest gathered.

Deriving his inspiration from Winston Churchill, he explained that Churchill’s quote has kept him going despite the odds that came.

Using late former president John Evans Atta Mills and president Akufo-Addo as an example of persistence, he praised them for not quitting when failure kept staring at them in the face in their attempt for power.

They were faced with defeat in their three times attempt to be voted for as president of Ghana; they could have quit but they never gave up.

Finally, he added that his mantra has always been “never ever give up”.

Ghana Legacy Honours 2017 which was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra saw reputable business magnate Sir Sam Jonah, renowned U. K based fashion designer Ozwald Boateng, head of the anti-corruption unit at the African Development Bank Anna Bossman, world-renowned architect Sir David Adjaye, CEO of Airtel Ghana, Lucy Quist, and tech innovator Herman Chinery-Hesse being honoured for their hard work.
