The Chief of Staff had visited the Upper West, Brong Ahafo, Volta, Eastern and the Ashanti regions respectively, with a vigorous campaign to get his boss the President John Dramani Mahama reelected on the December 7 polls.

While in the Ashanti region, Mr. Julius Debrah paid courtesy calls to the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II and other influential chiefs and opinion leaders.

He visited the Imams, addressed durbars and had one on one interactions with professional groups and a “job summit”, which spelled out government initiative towards the youth especially in job creation.

With barely 2 weeks to the general elections, the Chief of Staff is set to intensify his campaign of the Greater Accra region, by ensuring the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) takes full command of the region, and go ahead to win the elections one touch.

In spite of the fact that the Chief of Staff had to abort his campaign midstream due to the unfortunate demise of the mother of the Asantehene, he had a excellent tour of the region. To the extent that party executives are certain of a 1.5 million votes target.

Mr. Julius Debrah, upon hearing of the death of the Asantehemaa, had to rush to the Manhyia Palace to on behalf of government and the people of Ghana commiserate with Asanteman. Subsequently, he cut short his campaign which had been described as a huge success.

In Greater Accra, the Chief of Staff, would touch base with the supporters of the party and to whip up enthusiasm, explain government policies and achievements as well as activate them to work hard to realize a comprehensive victory. Which is symptomatic of all the regions he had visited.

During the Greater Accra tour, the Chief of Staff is expected to visit the Chiefs, address rallies at La Dadekotopon, Odododiodioo, Ada, Madina, Adenta, Krowor among constituencies.

He would address students, durbars and cap it all with a “Job Summit.”

According to the Chief of Staff, President Mahama’s achievement coupled with his commitment to building a fair and just society, is unparalleled, the need for the good people of Ghana to maintain him on December 7, to continue with his drive to change lives and transform Ghana.

The Chief of Staff’s entourage include experienced and leading members of the NDC, madam Faustina Nelson. Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi. Dep communications minister Mr. Ato Sarpong Presidential Staffers Mawusi Dzirasa and Emelia Arthur, Dep. General Secretary of the NDC Koku Anyidoho and other national and regional executives.
