The Campaign Coordinator for the NDC in the 2016 elections said he was forced to take this action following the towing away of all his five vehicles from his residence by persons believed to be from the national security and military.

“One of the vehicles always drop my children in school but they had to go and look for Taxi to take them to school and all this have become a heavy cost for me…,” he said.

Kofi Adams on Wednesday said on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Programme that some armed military men, DVLA officials and national security personnel stormed his residence at Golf City in Tema and drove away five vehicles.

The vehicles, he said are three (3) Land Cruisers and two (2) Pick Ups. Of the five, three of them – a Pick Up and 2 Land Cruisers belonged to him while the other two Land Cruisers belonged to his brother.

Kofi Adams speaking on the issue on Thursday however said the seizure of the vehicles has affected his daily activities as the vehicles were meant to run various errands for him.

“One of my vehicles had to drop some things around and that same vehicle had an assignment to attend to…,” he said.

Kofi Adams further threatened to ‘deal with’ the person who ordered that his vehicles be taken away.

“I was told they were forcing to open the vehicle initially without the keys and I pray there is no damage on any of them because if there is any damage on any of them, that would also be a different case.

“When we are done sorting that out, then I would let the law determine if Military officers are trained as part of Military trained as vehicle collection team,” he threatened.

Kofi Adams also revealed that he had to cut short his trip to Dubia and return to the country immediately to follow up on his vehicles.
