After experiencing a torrid season in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League the Porcupine Warriors will be hoping to make an instant impact in the upcoming season.

Kotoko will play Hearts of Oak in the semifinals of the GHALCA G6 after beating league champions Wa All Stars but after an impressive display in the ongoing tournament Michael Osei insists the team is yet to find its rhythm.

“It was a game we couldn’t settle earlier in the first half but in the second half we came in strongly, and we played very well,” he said in an interview with Asempa FM after he congratulated the players for inching closer to the cup.

He added that they are preparing for the upcoming season so have taken the tournament very serious.

“I don’t have new players, so I am using what I have to prepare for next season. When you have a rich bench which creates competition in the team it is always good for the team,” he noted.

According to him, any player that get the chance to play does well which is a good thing although he always has a headache in selecting who to paly as they have both impressed.

“It is too early to say the team has found its rhythm because we still have to focus and work very hard. In the past weeks, the players have worked very hard and have responded very well to training, so we will keep on working very hard to ensure that we get a good season,”
