Oduro, who unquestionably is one of the most dedicated players Kotoko have had in the last decade, earlier this week, accused Assistant Coach Michael Osei of side-lining him and also planning to end his career. But more than 24hours after his outrageous outburst on a Kumasi-radio station, Stephen Oduro has sent a letter to Management, unequivocally apologising for his effusions and pleading that, he be forgiven since he acted out of impatience and uncontrolled anger.

“I write to render an unqualified apology to the club for my outburst on radio recently. I was overtaken by emotions. I said things I should not have said” stated the highly experienced midfielder.

“My first apology goes to the Board and Management of the club. I further apologise to the technical team, especially to Coach Michael Osei for everything I said about him” he added disclosing that, he was “misled by the media into thinking that [the coach] didn’t like me”.

Stephen Oduro additionally apologised to his teammates and pleaded that they receive him back. “I hope they accept me and take me back into their fold” said a remorseful Stephen Oduro who is loved by the fans not just for his dedicated service but also for his humility.

Stephen Oduro had this for his supporters and Kotoko followers who have been unhappy with his tantrums. “To the fans who have stood by me and supported me. I’m very sorry for what happened” promising that such a thing wouldn’t happen again.
