Participants of TV3’s Talented Kidz acknowledged some legendary highlife artistes during last Sunday’s performances by singing and dancing to their tunes.

The contestants of Ghana’s biggest and outstanding programme for young people sang and danced to tunes of legends such as Kojo Antwi, Osibisa, Amakye Dede, Ofori Amponsah, Paapa Yankson and Daasebre Aho)fe Dwamena, among others.

Aristo Jokers, after their hilarious sketch, presented a citation in honour of all highlife legends for their great contribution towards Ghanaian music.

They called on the female judge of the show, Aunty Paulina, who is also a Ghanaian highlife musician and an actress, to receive the citation on behalf of highlife legends.

Among the lots who were thrilled by their performances were co-judge Uncle Benedict and music producer and sound engineer Appietus, who was the guest judge for the day.

Last Sunday’s edition of the kids reality show saw thrilling performances from participants as GH Acrobats emerged the most creative contestants of the day.

Meanwhile, two groups – Young Stars and Gye Nyame Dancers – were shown the exit from the competition.

A product of Ghana’s leading TV channel, TV3, Talented Kidz, which features young people between the ages of 7 and 12, airs every Sunday at 4pm.
