Ghanaian highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena is set to launch his biography on June 23 at the Best Western Premier Hotel at Airport in Accra.
The book titled ‘Past Days Ahead’, his first, tells an intimate story of friends, relatives and Kwabena Kwabena himself as it recounts his journey from Bubuashie, a suburb of Accra, to stardom.
How his passion and determination were shaped by a disciplinarian father and a very calm mother also feature prominently.
Speaking to 3news.com, the talented musician expressed his excitement ahead of the book launch.
“‘Past days Ahead’ is quite interesting for a title of a book and a biography of mine because of the content of the book and what it suggests.
“The book is like the past, present and the future so basically that’s the reason for the title ‘Past Days Ahead’.
“It’s been over a decade of being in the limelight of Ghanaian entertainment and it’s come with a lot of ups and downs, lots of event, a lot of achievements, setbacks, there’s been a birth of a record label, lots happening with the record label, lots happening with Kwabena Kwabena, so it’s everything happening with Kwabena Kwabena.”
