Everything You Want to Know about Sarkodie’s NYC Music Show

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie is set to return to New York with Da Highest Concert. This feat which forms part of Sarkodie’s USA music tour, comes at the heels of his recent much-talked-about show at the famous Apollo Theater.

Sarkodie’s Da Highest Concert will come off at the Hammerstein Ballroom on 311 W 34 Street, New York on September 2. The NYC music show is expected to come before the release of his much-anticipated, ‘The Highest’ album.

Participating in Sarkodie’s Da Highest USA concert are female Ghanaian highlife musician Efya, popular Kumawood actor and singer Lilwin and Highlife legend, Amakye Dede.

The group are going to perform on the night with the backing of the incredible famous live band, ‘The Compozers’, as well as performances from other special guest artists. Click here to buy your tickets for the event.

‘Da Highest’ concert is a TM Entertainment and Sarkcess Music presentation sponsored by Kasapreko Alomo Bitters.

The ‘Highest’ will be Sarkodie’s fifth solo music album. The rapper has been dropping hints on the soon-to-be-released album, heightening the anticipation of his fans who can no longer wait to catch a glimpse of the new collections.

Sarkodie remains the most globally sold-out Ghanaian rap musician at the moment. Named in Forbes 2017 list of Richest African Musicians, the rapper who has vowed to continue dominating the Ghana Music Industry till he retires, has many albums and hit songs to his credit.

Sarkodie raps both in his native tongue, Twi as well as in English. Some of his most trendy songs include ‘Illuminati’, ‘Rapperholic’, ‘Adonai’, ‘Mary’, and many more.

He has done collaborations with both Ghanaian and international music stars like, Obraffour, Banky W, Efye, R2bees, among others.
