The youth are against the appointment of one Victoria Ayamba as the DCE
Some angry youth believed to be members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Zebilla in the Bawku West district of the Upper East Region, last night vandalized party and government properties in protest of a possible appointment of District Chief Executive (DCE) for the district.
The angry youth claimed they want one Patrick Ayaaba to be the MCE and not Victoria Ayamba who according to them would be named by the President soon.
They destroyed properties at the offices of Non-formal division, youth employment, social welfare, community development, client office unit and others at the Bawku West district assembly.
