The Minister of Finance, Mr. Kenneth Ofori-Atta on Wednesday, 15th November, 2017, presented the 2018 Ghana Budget and Economic Policy to the House of Parliament. As usual, the budget presentation did not go without massive heckling, ridicule and criticisms from angles of the minority/opposition in the house.

On the other hand, the ruling government, the majority lauded and are still lauding every bit of the budget with all confidence and exuberance – touting both their achievements and the yet to be achieved.
However, the major areas that received significant consideration in the budget borders around job creation, tax and electricity tariff reforms, energy, petroleum and financial sector.
