The sixth week activity which happened on March 31 saw contestants climb the Aburi Mountains again for aerobics.

Being their second time climbing the mountain, most participants made it to the top in less time and without much struggle as compared to the first time. It was observed that their stamina and endurance levels had improved tremendously considering the turnaround of participants.

Participants had met at Ayi Mensah , the foothill of the Aburi Mountains, at 5:30 am and engaged in some body stretch exercises led by Beatrice Affull before climbing  the mountain.

At the top of the mountains, participants took turns to check their weight in order to keep track, evaluate and monitor the progress that they have made so far.

This was followed by an hour of aerobics led by Fat2Fit trainer and Ghana’s first Fitness Ambassador, Beatrice Affull, aka Bea-de-bully. The Biggest weight loser for the week was Mrs. Angela Markwei with a weight loss of 2.1kg.

For her prize, she took home a make-up and hair treatment from Saloon Services as well as a copy of Akoto  DerGross’  latest book; Change What You Eat; Change How You Look.  The event came to an end at 8:30am as participants walked down the mountain after the aerobics.

Come Saturday April 7, participants will meet at the forecourt of TV 3 for an action packed and fun filled aerobics session.

It’s still not too late to join the challenge and lose weight the right way. Visit www.fat2fitghana.com to REGISTER or call 0548 692355.
