2014 PR Discovery of the Year, Gifty Bingley has advised her fans not to be in a hurry for success but exercise patience.
Using her social media page as a tool to inspire people, Bingley urged all to remain focused in life and also beseeched them to trust God.
“Take your time and do what is right. Don’t be in a hurry for success. All the things you are working on now will pay off over the next few years but you’ve got to keep at it and be patient. Above all this, have faith in God”, she wrote.
The head of Tigo Communication department using her success story as an example recounted how she had to put in double efforts, sacrifice and commitments in order to reach the level she is now.
“Yes I have been lucky however I have also worked incredibly hard. I have put in some very long days and nights and weekends and holidays… For my first PR job and other jobs since then I was hired based on my potential (I didn’t have a track record then and each portfolio was bigger than the previous role). I had to bring my A Game to the roles to ace them”, she added.

A note to myself: You have no excuse not to be great. Work hard, pick up the odd tasks, learn a new skill, drop that negative energy, be enthusiastic about what you are doing and be kind and generous.
