A 32-year-old man from the Volta Region has won the first of six brand new cars at stake in the ‘PAINT YOUR DREAM INTO REALITY’ promotion by Coral Paints Ghana.
The excited winner, Mr. Mawunyo Atoklo, was presented with the brand-new Hyundai Accent salon car at the Coral Colour Centre in Accra amid great fanfare and happy celebrations by friends and family. He received the keys to the car from the General Manager of Coral Paints Ghana, Mr. Yaw Bonnah-Sarpong.
Mr. Atoklo, a painter, won the prize after he found a dummy key in one of three 18L pails of Coralatex that he bought at the Coral showroom in Adabraka, Accra.
“I had a dream of winning one of the cars after I heard about the promotion,” he says. “The next morning, I went to the showroom to buy paint for a job I had and God being so good, I found the dummy key in one of the pails!”
He urged colleague painters and all others involved in the real estate industry to participate in the ‘PAINT YOUR DREAM INTO REALITY’ promotion.
“I am happy to be taking home this car as the first winner of the six brand new cars in this promotion,” Mr. Atoklo said. “It is real and I invite all painters and everybody to rush to the nearest Coral distributor anywhere in the country and give themselves the chance to win one of the remaining cars. It is true that under this promotion, everyone is a winner.”
In brief remarks, the General Manager of Coral Paints Ghana, Mr. Yaw Bonnah-Sarpong, said the promotion is being used to reward customers and show the company’s gratitude for their loyalty over the many years they have been operating in Ghana as the leading player in the paint industry.
“We are pleased and blessed to be improving the lives of people and helping them to paint their dreams into reality,” Mr. Sarpong said.
“Who wouldn’t like to win a car and save some money as well? The star brand of the promotion, the Coralatex 18 Litre pail is a big money saver because it has the highest spreading rate in the market and it is also the only exterior paint that has UV resistant pigments, which means that colours will keep their original shade without fading for much longer.” he added.
Coral started operations in Ghana in 1989 and operates in all regions of the country. The ‘PAINT YOUR DREAM INTO REALITY’ is the company’s third campaign. In the first promotion in 1995, the winner received a brand new house. In the second promotion, Coral Ghana sponsored some customers on an all-expense paid trip to Brazil to watch the national football team, the Black Stars at the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
To participate in the ‘PAINT YOUR DREAM INTO REALITY’ promotion, one has to buy an 18L Coralatex pail (in standard colours only). With every pail, the purchaser wins a free T-shirt. Any of the pails might also hold a dummy key that entitles the finder to win one of the 2017 Hyundai Accent salon cars at stake. Winner must submit: Original Copy of Purchase Invoice, Dummy key and any Valid ID to redeem prize. The promotion is running till 3rd October, 2017.
