Residents of some Zongo communities in Accra are highly elated over President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo’s creation of Inner cities and Zongo development ministry
According to them, the move by the president is reflective of his development plans for the Zongo communities across the country.
Speaking to GhanaWeb, some of the Zongo dwellers said the minister designate, Hon Boniface Abubakar, being one of them, will identify the needs of the Zongo people.
They have however charged the Minister-designate for Inner Cities and Zongo Development, Hon Boniface to focus on encouraging the youth in the Zongo communities to pursue higher education.
