The EC has cautioned the media and other stakeholders against declaring the results of the election
More than 9hours after close of polls in this years general election, the electoral commission has indicated that it is yet to receive any collated results from the constituency collation centers (CCC) at the National Collation Center(NCC).
In a tweet by the commission on its official twitter handle and using the hashtag #Election2016, it stated “Collation of results is still on going at all CCCs. The Commission has not yet received any collated results at the NCC.”
Many ghanaians are anxiously waiting for the EC to declare its certified results.
