NPP Loyal Ladies, a group within the governing party, has expressed confidence in the Akufo-Addo-led government to deliver.
“The NPP Loyal Ladies strongly believe in the competence, commitment, and capabilities of the current administration led by H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“We believe that the President has the welfare of Ghanaians at heart and will work assiduously with his team to ensure socio-economic prosperity for all,” the group said in a statement co-signed by Perpetual Lomokie Akwada and Martha Kodua to mark its first anniversary.

NPP LOYAL LADIES CELEBRATE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
We, the popular female youth group of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), NPP Loyal Ladies, are marking our first anniversary today, as a political mobilising wing of the Party ahead of the 2016 elections.
As we celebrate one year of strong showing on the country’s political scene, leadership of the party wishes to express its appreciation to the Almighty God for seeing its members through a year of struggle, hard work and the quest to put Mother Ghana back on its path of prosperity.
The Group would also like to extend its unblemished thanks to the Ghanaian people for rallying behind them since its inception – particularly during the electioneering period – and showing massive support and commitment to the beliefs, ideologies, vision and welfare of the Group. The group believes that this support and subsequent victory of the NPP in the December polls show the extent to which the country believes in the philosophy of the Group and the NPP in general as well as the principle of multi-party democracy. The group would like to say, without any equivocation, that it deeply appreciates the unflinching support of the Ghanaian people.

Again, the NPP Loyal Ladies believe that the commitment and support of hundreds of thousands of our membership across the country have been the cornerstone of the party’s victory in the just-ended polls. We would like to assure our members that our quest has not ended and that we will continue to work together even as the party has won power to help put the country and the good people of Ghana on the path of economic prosperity. This is based on our conviction that it is only through teamwork and collective efforts of membership of the group that the change which Ghanaians voted for can be realised and actualised.
We firmly believe in the role of women and for that matter the youth in bringing about social change. Therefore, the Loyal NPP ladies is assuring the public of nationwide mobilisation of women and marginalised groups to be engaged in skills training activities in order to empower them for their socio-economic growth and development. Through this, we believe we can contribute our mite to the development of the country.
