He believes the country has reached a stage where brain power is superior to brawn power and therefore underscored the need for the youth who are the direct successors of the country, to consider this option in solidifying its future.

In his view, Ghana is bigger than any political party and therefore upright citizens mostly made of its youth should rise up in arms against individuals who will want to orchestrate violence in all forms in the pursuit of a clandestine agenda.

Addressing executives of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) at their 50th handing over ceremony at the GB auditorium of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), he appealed to the youth to eschew all forms of extremism and political violence.

“Ghana is the only country we have and it is older than any political party. We should not allow politicians to divide us coerce us into violent acts that will be detrimental to the current peace enjoyed by the country. I pray for that day the country’s politics will be done devoid of violence where parties will accept criticisms in good faith to better ourselves as a country”, he emphasized.

According to him, nature binds Ghanaians together irrespective of cultural and religious backgrounds adding that this is done to ensure that the citizenry peacefully coexist to foster development to inure to the benefit of all.

“We should strengthen this bond and pledged our individual unflinching support to one another in the interest of national unity before, during and after the December polls where Ghana will become the ultimate winner”, he concluded
