Speaking in an interview with Kwabena Agyapong on Eboboba on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, she said, the residents especially electorates have regretted voting for the MP because she has lost touch with the people.

According to her, the candidate lacks understanding of what the needs of the constituents are, and in other to ensure that their interests are met, they should vote for her to represent them in Parliament.

Mrs. Twum stressed that a vote for the incumbent MP would be another terrible mistake that will deprive them of a better candidate. She was hopeful that the electorates would massively vote for her because she is credible, formidable, competent and a grass root person.

The NDC parliamentary candidate stated further that, Ursula Owusu is only a ”caretaker MP and the time has come for her to hand over to a more committed candidate. She has promised to defeat Ursula Owusu miserably in the upcoming December 7, Parliamentary election. According to her, she is a resident of the constituency, has an office and a family house in the town thereby a part of the constituency and knows their problem and how to solve it for the constituents.

The incumbent won the race with a margin of 10, 822 votes. When asked if she could close the gap, she said, i will win the race and defeat ”caretaker Ursula Owusu miserably. Her time is up and I am the best candidate to represent the interest of my constituents.”

The candidate rating the performance of Ursula Owusu from a scale of 100-0 percent gave her 40 percent adding that, in terms of her personality and educational background, she has achieved a lot however, her performance as an MP over the last four years, has been miserable.
