A 17-year-old girl is still recovering from shock after she was sexually assaulted by a thief in the course of a robbery operation.
The victim [name withheld] according to reports was sleeping with other siblings when the thief after his operation decided to satisfy himself sexually.
This unfortunate incident occurred at Samraboi in the Wasa Amenfi District of the Western region.
Mother of the victim, Ama Oforiwaa narrating the incident to Adom News said, the thief realising that he could not penetrate, lifted the dress of her daughter who was fast asleep, removed her panties and started licking her vagina.
“My daughter who was asleep woke up after the strange feeling only to find the head of the young man between her thighs. She screamed for help but the thief run away” she added.
Madam Oforiwaa said her 17-year-old daughter is traumatised due to the brutal sexual experience.
The victim in an interview on Adom News said she now has sleepless nights after that attack.
She is worried the incident might recur since they don’t have electricity in their village.
The 17-year-old girl is appealing to the police to increase security protection in the area and also hunt for the thief who is currently at large.
Meanwhile, the thief after the heinous crime also made away with some monies and valuables in the room.
