According to him, most students lack exposure to modern ideas because the zeal among students to seek for ideas has dwindled.

Speaking at the launch of Africa Intellectual Database for Development and Excellence (AIDDE), Professor Nuamah called on the Ministry Of Education and Ghana Education Service to help enforce  research and technology in the basic and secondary schools.

“I entreat the Ministry Of Education and Ghana Education Service to join hands with us in providing a similar platform for basic and secondary schools. The proposed provision of libraries in some part of the country by the government will be very much enhanced if it is supported with a localised e-library and e-teaching platform. Let us all help to shape teaching and learning in Ghana through technology,” he said.

Africa Intellectuals Database for Development and Excellence (AIDDE) is a joint project between Regent University College of Science and Technology and Final Vision Technology (FvTech) of Canada.

The project forms part of the vision of the president of regent university college and that of the leadership team of fvtech Canada. AIDDE project is about e-library, e-teaching, African innovative challenge project and Digitalization of all Africa educational materials from all the Africa universities into one database technology platform to be shared by professors, students and industries with the rest of the world.

The project will bring academia students and industry together to share one common platform for the development and industrialisation of Africa.
