Former Member of Parliament for the Atebubu Amantin constituency, Hon. Sanja Nanja has promised to give the Akufo-Addo led government some breathing space to operate since it would be early for him to nail the current administration down.
Hon. Sanja Nanja in his submission on ATV’s Asem Yi Di Ka, wondered if the appointees of the president to occupy various ministerial portfolios were the team to help him achieve the numerous campaign promises that earned him victory in the 2016 elections.
According to him though it would be early for him to criticize the NPP government, he wouldn’t relent to give the current administration hard time if they fail to set up one factory in each constituency as they promised.
“This is the time he (Nana Addo) is organizing his ministers… We should allow him and his team to some space to work. We want to see the one district one factory, one village one dam, one million dollars to each constituency as they promised.
“If he thinks his ministers can help him in restoring the teacher trainee allowance, we should allow him to work with them; it is after that we can question him”, he said.
