Founder and Leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Owusu Bempah, has said that God will give President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo the strength and wisdom to govern the country. The prophet said this at the thanksgiving ceremony of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which was organised by the party on Sunday December 18, to thank God for their election victory.

At the thanksgiving service, Prophet Owusu Bempah prays for wisdom on behalf of President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo. The prophet who led the congregation filled with NPP loyalists said that:

God will give him [Nana Addo] wisdom as Solomon and strength like David to govern the country.

Speaking at the gathering on Sunday, Rev. Bempah also noted that the prophecy given earlier on Nana Addo’s victory has come to pass.

Rev. Owusu Bempah had prophesied that Nana Addo will win the general elections. The prophet who so much believed in the third time presidential contender, prophesied victory for him on several occasions. One of such occasions was when he made a controversial comment that EC Boss, Charlotte Osei will die, if she rigged the elections in favour of outgoing President Mahama.

The prophet on another occasion had said that, angels will descend from heaven to vote for Akufo-Addo, should Ghanaians fail to vote for him.

Following Nana Addo’s victory, the prophet has also said he will set up a prayer team, whose sole duty would be to pray round the clock for the President-elect and his administration.

Owusu Bempah had led the NPP through a 21-day fast ahead of the elections. He is one of the many preachers who were publicly acknowledged by Nana Addo for their support, during his victory speech after the election.
