Controversial prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has stated that President Mahama has “blood on his hands” and cannot be president of Ghana after the upcoming elections.

According to the outspoken man of God, the sitting president has been rejected by God because his hands are soiled. It is not clear what the prophet meant by his statement that there is blood in the president’s hands.

However, he insisted that New Patriotic Party’s Nana Akuffo Addo will triumph over him.

“Nana Akuffo Addo will win the elections because he has been chosen by God. John Mahama cannot be President because there is blood on his hands” he told Adom FM’s mid-morning programme “Work and Happiness” show host Ohemaa Woyeje

He claimed that he sees beyond the ordinary and has rightly predicted election results in the past. He claimed that he correctly predicted the 1992 elections which the National Democratic Congress won.

He also claimed to have predicted that the 2008 presidential elections will go into a runoff saying he had a vision at the time where Nana Akuffo Addo was holding a key ready to unlock a door. However in that vision, the late Professor Evans Fiifi Atta Mills entered the room on the blind side of the NPP Presidential aspirant. The NDC went ahead to win the elections after a run off.

He challenged the Christian Council, Peace Council and reputable pastors in the country to take up the task of preaching peace during the elections to avoid any potential violence.

“If the Christian Council, Peace Council and senior pastors in the country do not speak up it will be a problem. People are asking the pastor to speak up because they want to hear from them” he said.

Asked if he will vote during the elections Prophet admitted that he will vote but refused to mention which political party he will vote for.

“I will vote but it will be for the one who has been ordained by God” he said.

He called on President Mahama to start penning his handing over letter and also send Nana Akuffo Addo a congratulatory message because after the elections he will no longer be in power.
