Today marked the beginning of the eighteenth round in the English Premier League, for 2016-2017 season, and it was quite the harvest of goals.

In the early kick off game, after goals from Yohan Cabaye (26’) and Troy Deeney (72’) squared the sides, Watford and Crystal Palace each went home with a point.

Here’s what happened in the 3pm fixtures:

Although West Brom were outplayed for much of the match, getting in only one shot on target, and having only 24% of the ball possession, they looked set to sharing points with their North London hosts, Arsenal.

But then, five minutes before the end of the game, Oliver Giroud, making his first start of the season, nailed in a match winner after Mesut Ozil picked him up with a deadly cross from outside the box.

Bunley striker Andre Gray dealt the deadly blow in the last 10 minutes of the game at Turf Moor, crushing Middlesbrough’s hopes of gaining more points on them.

It was Chelsea’s day, as Pedro slipped in a beautiful lob in the 24th minute over the Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc, to give the home side a lead.

And though they played without Kante and Costa, Chelsea was deadly.

Pedro’s brace, the first of which marked his 50th Premier league goal, sealed all three points for the home team, completing a 12th successive win for Chelsea.

Everton looked quite the deadly squad at the King Power Stadium, beating home team Leicester City FC with a goal each from Mirallas and Lukaku.

Jose Mourinho’s men seem to have found their winning streak, after registering another win.

The goals began with Daley Blind’s ground-shot sweeper goal after Ibrahimovic set him up with a short pass.

In the second half, it was an even sorrier story for Moyes’s men, as Ibrahimovic scored his 50th calender year goal from a through pass from world’s most expensive player, Paul Pogba.

The Theatre of Dreams has seen many beaytiful goals, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal, from an Ibrahimovic cross, is right up there with the best of them. It was Mikhi’s backflip backheel combo that beat Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford, sealing the win for the home team.

In the 90th minute, Fabio Borini put in a consolation goal for Sunderland, but it wasn’t enough to contend for the points.

Swansea was at the losing end at home today, as Andrew Ayew returned to score against his former club after Swansea goalkeeper Fabianski prevented Andy Carroll’s header from beating him. The goalie was unable to stop Ayew’s easy goal an instant later though.

Goals from Winston Reid and Michail Antonio, with Antonio’s goal from a Dimitri Payet cross, made it a trio of goals.

Fernando Llorente pulled one back, but Carrol nailed a final goal for West Ham, sealing all three points.
