The Ghana Police Service (GPS), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bureau for National Investigation (BNI) have all been sued to arrest Collins Dauda’s brother, Abdulai Naaba over the murder threats he issued in an interview on Agyenkwa FM’s Agyenkwa Dawuro.

In the interview, Abdulai Naaba had confessed that he has been killing people and will also kill Kennedy Agyapong if he ever comes to Asutifi South.

The suit was filed by Mohammed Bashiru, Zac Rahman, Sulemana Aliu and Joseph Manu. The applicants are praying the court to cause any or all of the aforementioned security agencies to take action against Abdulai Naaba over his murder comments on radio.

According to Mohammed Bashiru, who spoke to Citi News, it is strange to Ghana’s democracy for Collins Dauda’s brother to be allowed to walk free after making such dangerous confessions just because he is related to a minister.

He wondered if being a relation to a minister gives one the guarantee to do whatever he likes; adding that nobody knows who would be next on Naaba’s list.

The way Naaba is portraying himself, if you are related to a Minister, you can kill, you can maim, you can attack, you can do whatever you want and get away with it. Who knows who Naaba and his group will kill next? Mohammed Bashiru lamented.

He therefore stressed that they want the police to take the necessary actions as one cannot just come on air and say things like that and be allowed to go scot-free. He specifically noted that the suit is aimed at making the court to order any or all of the aforementioned security agencies to arrest and prosecute Collins Dauda’s brother.
