Owusu Bempah Now A Spiritual Informant For Police – Lawyer

Lawyer for embattled Prophet, Isaac Owusu-Bempah has disclosed that his client is now a special asset for the Ghana Police Service following his prophecy about an assassination plot hatched against NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to Yaw Buaben Asamoah, Rev. Owusu Bempah is now a ‘spiritual informant’ for the police to avert any evil plot against the NPP leader before, during and after the December polls.

The founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International is reported to have prophesied that there will be gunshots at the NPP strongholds during the December 7 polls.

Rev. Owusu-Bempah also said some persons are plotting to assassinate the presidential candidate. However, the Prophet’s inability to name those plotting the assassination is the reason he has been invited by the police to assist in investigations.

Some supporters and church members who were peeved at the invitation massed up at the Police Headquarters asking for his release.

But Yaw Boabeng Asamoah on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday said the police acted professionally.

His client, he said, urged the police to be vigilant since prophecy is the outcome of a spiritual encounter thus any explanations in the physical realm might not make sense to a lay man.

“Rev Owusu-Bempah is a very powerful prophet; whatever he says comes to pass so the police is ready to work with him to be proactive,” he added.

Citing how the Man of God prophesied about someone throwing a stone at Akufo-Addo two weeks before the unfortunate incident happened at a rally in Osu to buttress his point, Mr. Buabeng Asamoah said Rev. Owusu-Bempah is a national asset who must not be taken for granted.

He said his client is ready to help the police with any information to protect the life of “incoming President” Nana Akufo-Addo.
