I was in Ghana before, but when I came back now, I was telling my friend that he hasn’t brought me to this part of Ghana and he said, it’s the same place just that the development of Ghana by Prez Mahama is just commendable, he said.

Mr. Nkem Owoh’s comments come on the back of recent outburst of agitations by some political stakeholders, regarding the allowance of Nigerian celebs in Ghana’s political campaigns. A lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Dr. Amoako Baah, described such foreign involvements, as an insult to the Ghanaian government.

Apart from Nkem Owoh, Nigerian actor Hanks Anuku, was reportedly spotted campaigning for the NPP. Also Nigerian businessman, Dele Momodu has reportedly been calling for support for the President .

But Dr Amoako who spoke on radio Universe, bemoaned the campaign by the foreigners. Describing it as degrading, the lecturer said that no foreign individual, has the right to tell Ghanaians whom to vote for in an election.
