Other contestants include; Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Dr. Edward Mahama of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Ivor Greenstreet of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and independent candidate Jacob Osei Yeboah.

Nana Addo after casting his vote, took to his social media page to issue a statement. The NPP Flagbearer in his statement, urged the people to go out and vote massively for him and also called for peace and orderliness throughout the elections.
