The Deputy Minister of Power, John Abdulai Jinapor has stated that irrespective of the quantity of “Kalyppo” consumed by the presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, he can never lead the country as president.

“He can drink Kalyppo enough to fill up the Atlantic Ocean; Nana Addo can never be president of this country. The presidency is not about drinking kalyppo”, he told National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters at a constituency campaign launch at Bole.

According to him, the NDC will not engage in the politics of ‘Kalyppo’ but will focus on the development of the country which makes it the toast of residents who are prepared to vote and mandate President John Dramani Mahama a second term.

“The NPP cannot match us when it comes to development ….Our records are unmatched in housing, health, infrastructural development, education, industry and many others”, he said.

The Deputy Minister who is also the NDC parliamentary candidate for Yapei-Kusawgu in the Northern region, entreated residents to turn up in their numbers on election day and vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama and the party’s candidates in all constituencies in the region.

While describing the NDC candidate for Bole-Bamboi Alhaji Yussif Sulemana as a hardworking person who will further advance their development course, he observed that residents will make the president proud if they turn out in their numbers to vote for him to increase the vote margin of 2012.

“We must not fail President John Dramani Mahama as his kinsmen. Let us make him proud and vote for the Bole Show Boy because he has proven to be the best for Ghana in all spheres”, he concluded.
