The Chief of Achiase in the Ahafo Ano South District, Nana Kwaku Osei Afriyie Bonsu II, has encouraged the NPP and its flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo, not to be bothered by the machinations of the EC and its Chairperson, Mad. Charlotte Osei, since victory will be for them.

“No matter what Charlotte Osei does, trust me the NPP will win the coming elections. No two ways about it,” Nana Bonus assured.

He said there was clarion call for change throughout the country, stressing that victory will be for the NPP in the upcoming elections.

The chief gave the assurance when the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako and the Member of Parliament for the Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Johnson Adu, paid a courtesy call on him at his Palace in Achiase as part of a community tour to some constituencies in the region.

According to the Chief, no matter what the EC and its Chairperson, Mad. Charlotte Osei, tries to do, there is no way President Mahama and the NDC can retain power.

He therefore asked the NPP and its leadership to remain resolute in the midst of the frustrations from the electoral body.

The MP for the constituency, Hon. Johnson Adu, reiterated his commitment towards the development of the community and asked the Chief and the people to give the NPP and Nana Addo Akufo Addo massive endorsement in the 2016 elections.

Addressing party supporters later on, the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, charged the supporters to be vigilant on the voting day, encouraging them to stay behind and protect the ballot after casting their votes.

He asked them not to feel intimidated by the evil plots of the NDC and President Mahama.
