National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team member in the Ashanti region, Godwin Boboobi is strongly against disbandment of political vigilante groups hinting the party plans to recruit and train more of such groups to protect its members.
“Soon we will form another group which will be formidable to save NDC members from attacks. “The communications member hinted on Otec FM in Kumasi.
The aspiring Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer for of the opposition party intents said he intends to form the groups to beef security at the party’s social gatherings.
“I will see to raise another vigilante group which will be hundred times powerful than Delta Force and Invincible Forces. My priority is to protect our members”. Godwin Boboobi has said.
The communicator therefore appealed to the President to find jobs for members of Delta Forces and Invincible Forces who are vigilante groups loyal to the NPP who recently stormed the office of Ashanti Regional security coordinator to demanding Mr. George Agyei’s removal.
He also asked the government to list qualified and competent members into various security forces which will give them the opportunity to give maximum protection to their party executives in times of challenges.
