He is confident the ruling party will win both the presidential and parliamentary elections in the constituency.

Addressing party supporters at a rally in Bunkpurugu, Anthony Gingong underscored the need for supporters to remain faithful to the National Democratic Congress by retaining President John Mahama.

He says the support given him from electorates is a sign of good will and victory.

“The way you have poured out today gives me assurance that this seat is a done-deal for President Mahama and me and I assure you that you will witness enormous development come 2017.”

He charged supporters to vote out the incumbent Member of Parliament, Solomon Boar, stating “the New Patriotic Party has no vision for Ghana”.

According to him, construction of the Bindi-Bunkpurugu road is a fulfillment of campaign promise in 2012.

“We are voting hundred percent for President Mahama, the road he promised to construct during his campaign is being constructed, so let’s vote massive for him, and remember to vote Anthony Gingong on that day”.

The Director in charge of Quality Assurance at the National Health Insurance Authority said he is leaving no stone unturned in canvassing votes for the National Democratic Congress.

Three nominees namely Duut Bonchaal, an independent candidate,  Solomon Boar, the incumbent on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, and Anthony Gingong of the National Democratic Congress are contesting the Bunkpurugu parliamentary seat.
