The Deputy Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Joseph Yamin, has come at pastors predicting a win for the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo Addo, in the coming elections. According to him, it is only ‘fufu eating’ pastors who make such careless predictions.

The NADMO Deputy Coordinator has maintained that there is no way the NPP presidential hopeful will win the election.  Speaking on Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, Joseph Yamin slams such pastors predicting a Nana addo victory. He stated that Mahama will convincingly win the elections and that God also reveals to people who are not pastors.

He also touted Mahama’s achievements since his assumption of office since 2012.  he said that the country under Mahama has witnessed enormous transformation in all sectors of the economy. He urged the people to vote for Mahama whose outstanding track record, speaks for itself.

There have been so many predictions from different people ahead of this year’s election coming off on December 7. Traditional chiefs as well as high ranking members of different parties, have in recent times, predicted a win for their respective candidates.

That of course might not seem unusual, but what has baffled a lot of Ghanaians, is the scenarios which have seen clergy men seemingly taking stands and making predictions ahead of the December elections. The most talked about of them all is the prediction of Rev Owusu Bempah, founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International.

Prophet Owusu Bempah in recent times, has predicted a win for the NPP Flagbearer in the coming elections, to the surprise as well as displeasure of many NDC supporters. Not minding the criticisms hurled by him from a section of displeased Ghanaians, the prophet has maintained his stand.

Owusu Bempah had earlier in September, made a controversial comment while speaking about this year’s elections. In what seemed like a threat, Owusu Bempah said that the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Charlotte Osei will die, if she rigs the elections in favour of NDC’s President Mahama.

But Joseph Yami makes nonsense of such predictions as he maintains that the President will win a second term come December.
