Founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Pastor Otabil Mensah, has urged men to express their love for their wives by getting them gifts and goodies. During his sermon, the renowned pastor said that husbands should not just use words to express their love, but also demonstrate it by spending their money on people they love.

Pastor Otabil talks love and giving while preaching to his congregants, explaining that “love gives” and “love shares”. He explained that as a married man, it is not ideal for a man to keep on telling his wife ‘I love you’ without showing it. According to him, it will get to a time when the woman would start to ask for something more than words.

Pretty soon your wife is going to say: ‘Where is the love?’ These days because women, too, can do what men do, you also don’t tell your man: ‘I love you, you know I love you.’ Show it!… Love must be followed by giving. Don’t just do mouth mouth. You must show it.

He however said that a man is only excused if he has nothing or is very poor. Pastor Otabil went further to say that when God blesses a man with money, he shouldn’t hesitate to spend it on his wife.

To the women also, Pastor Otabil advised them to demonstrate their love by buying things for their husbands. The man of God stressed that actions speak louder than voice and that men and women should learn to spend money on the people they love.

The excited crowed cheered as the renowned pastor took time to emphasize the issue of love and giving.
