A man believed to be in his fifties (50) has been shot dead by a faceless person at Drobo in the Brong Ahafo Region on Monday evening.
The unfortunate incident happened when the deceased went farming on his mushroom nursery with his family.
Assembly man for the area Enoch Benneh, speaking to Adom News said, the incident happened between 3-4 pm on that fateful day.
“Mussah visited the farm with his wife and in-law. On their way home, he decided to check up on his mushrooms he had nursed some time ago so he urged his wife and in-law to take the lead”.
“Upon their arrival they realized he had taken much time than expected. So it heavily dawned on them he might be a culprit of a gunshot they heard earlier whiles returning from the farm.
“And he eventually it was him who has been shot” he said.
It is unclear what might have triggered the unkown men to commit such heinous crime but the matter has been reported to the police for investigations.
Body of the deceased has been conveyed to the morgue.
