President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to be in the Central Region from Monday, November 28 for a second campaign tour of the Region.
To take two days, the tour will see the president commission eight more community day senior high schools (SHSs) in the Region.
“This will bring the number of Mahama Secondary Schools commissioned in the Region by the President to ten (10) since Prof Mills SHS at Ekumfi Otiam and Agona Fankobaa SHS at Agona Abodom have been commissioned already,” said a statement issued by the regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The schools are situated in Diaso, Kyekyewere, Moree, Enyanmaim, Gomoa Gyaman, Agona Namanwora, Awutu Bawjiase and Ofaakor.
The Region is expected to have 14 of the model SHSs, 70 of which have been promised to be completed by end of 2016.
The president, who is also NDC’s presidential candidate, will also address rallies in the Region.
