Enumerating the massive infrastructural developmental projects government has implemented in the district within the four-year administration of President John Mahama and Alex Adomako Mensah Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency, the Former Finance Minister indicated they are enormous and retaining both leaoers will bring about more of such to the area.

Dr. Duffuor believes it is wise for the constituents to retain the NDC in power for the party to complete its unfinished projects in the infant district.

Addressing party supporters at NDC constituency Campaign launch over the weekend, the Dr Duffuor pledged to establish an educational scholarship scheme to support constituents as part of his personal contribution towards promoting education the district.

This he said will be a reward for the constituents if the vote massively for his brother Alex Adomako Mensah and President Mahama in the December 7 elections.

“I am promising you today that if you vote for John Mahama and Adomako Mensah I will establish a scholarship scheme for all those going to secondary schools. The development projects that have been brought here require educated persons to man them. Education is very important. If you don’t vote for John Dramani Mahama and Alex Adomako Mensah, you will disgrace me. The December 7 elections is a determination of your destiny. Some of the projects may not be completed by the two years and I will therefore request that you do me that honour by voting massively for them”, he promised.
