The Al Ahli striker picked a late injury from his club’s training ahead of the Black Stars call up which forced Avram Grant to exclude him from the squad.
Despite being out of the team, the inspirational figure joined the players to inspire and motivate them ahead of the Egypt game.
Ghana will play the Pharaohs of Egypt in the second group game of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Alexandria on November 13.
Ghana needs to avoid defeat in the game to keep their hopes of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup alive.
