The former Senior Advisor to ex-president Barack Obama, David Axelrod has confessed to former President John Mahama about Americans love for him, his visionary and his excellent style of leadership.
According to Axelrod – the founder of the Institute of Politics in Chicago: “I don’t know what happened in Ghana during the 2016 presidential election, but if the people here were to vote, I am sure majority would have voted for you,” he said – as he ushered Mahama on stage.
Former President Mahama arrived the United States of America three days ago as a guest speaker at a number of prestigious American universities.
So far, Mahama has mount platforms at Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Harvard, Chicago University, and Institute of Politics among others.
He has also had meetings with notable Africans such as the Mrs Folorunso Alakija, one of the richest Africans, heads of tertiary institutions and Ghanaian students studying in various schools he visited.
Information also has it that he’s currently on negotiating table as offers pours in from tertiary institutions who desire to offer him teaching appointments.
