According to her, the dress was given to her by the event organizer, Charterhouse, because she was to present an award that night.

She made this known while speaking to Miriam Osei-Agyemang on 3FM’s mid-morning show Urban Blend on the segment dubbed ‘Worker of the Week’.

Nana Ama McBrown was nominated as Worker of the Week by her fellow actress Akosua Kekeli of the ‘Efiewura’ Fame.

Asked how she felt about her being trolled on social media, she replied “I laughed because I was being compared to teletubbies”.

“It is so beautiful, it’s part of the job, you laugh over it and move on and it’s not something you need to take offense to.”

After last Saturday’s biggest music awards night, most Ghanaians took to social media to mock most of the dresses that were worn.

Some of the dresses were compared to interesting animations.

Urban Blend’s ‘Worker of the Week’ is a segment designed to recognize and reward hardworking people.

Listeners are encouraged to nominate one person in their offices who deserve to be recognized and rewarded by sending a voice note and giving reasons for their nominations to the official WhatsApp number 0500-607070.

Last week’s winner was Fred Asiedu-Dartey, the Head of Public Relations for Ghana Shippers Authority. The segment is on every Monday.
