Hearts Draw Again, Aduana Maintain 100% Record

Hearts gave their fans hope when Patrick Razak put them ahead in the 8th minute, but Dwarfs hit back right after the break through Nicholas Gyan to frustrate their guests.

In Dormaa Ahenkro, Aduana Stars continued their impressive start to the season with an emphatic 4:0 win against debutants Bolga All Stars, who have lost two games so far with a game in hand.

Mumuni Zakaria opened the scoring for Aduana in the 23rd minute and Nathaniel Asamoah added the second in the 48th minute. Noah Martey and Tanko Mohammed scored the 3rd and 4th to complete the rout, which secured Aduana’s one hundred per cent record.

A brace by Seth Appiah ensured that Chelsea defeated Liberty Professionals 2:0 in Berekum. He scored the first in the 29th minute and added the second in the 36th minute.

Tema Youth and Ashantigold drew 1:1 in Tema, with Joseph Paintsil scoring for Tema Youth through a penalty while Shafiu Mumuni scored for Ashantigold in the 70th minute.

Another game which also ended in a 1:1 draw was Medeama and Inter Allies in Tarkwa. Bernard Ofori opened the scoring for Medeama iand Isaac OSA equalised for Inter Allies.

Great Olympics and Elmina Sharks drew 2:2 in Accra. Abel Manomey put Olympics 2 up but Sharks came back strongly and leveled up. Shadrack Tweneboah pulled one back, in what would go down as Elmina Sharks’ first ever Premier League goal. Joseph Mensah got the equaliser for Elmina Sharks.

In Kumasi, Asante Kotoko survived a stiff challenge by Bechem United with a 1:0 win. Kotoko were stretched to their limits and they had to wait until the 85th minute to score through a penalty converted by Abeiku Ainooson.
